With the rollout of the new community feature (available on the Insta360 ONE, Insta360 Nano S, Insta360 Air and Insta360 Nano apps), it’s never been easier to explore the best content from Insta360 users around the world.

It’s also never been easier to share some of the unique shooting techniques that make 360 such a compelling new form. That’s why we’re kicking off a series of content challenges designed to spread the word on some of the coolest 360 camera techniques, and to let the Insta360 community show what it’s made of.

The first one, which we’re calling #symmetryslam, is all about finding the hidden symmetries in this messy, slapdash world. Watch the video below to see how to capture a perfectly symmetrical shot, and then read on for the simple instructions on entering the challenge for a chance to have your work featured in the Insta360 community.

How do I enter the challenge?

To enter the challenge, capture your best symmetrical masterpiece and then log into the Insta360 Community on the Insta360 app of your choice (available on the Insta360 ONE, Insta360 Nano S, Insta360 Air and Insta360 Nano apps). You can see what other users are sharing by tapping the ‘Explore’ button, and add your own photo or video contributions with the ‘Post’ button. The submission is complete one you’ve added the #symmetryslam tag and hit ‘Share’.
