The innovative camera, which is compatible with iPhone, will be sold as part of an exclusive bundle, including a tripod, a customized selfie stick and an all-new Bullet Time Handle for capturing Insta360’s signature revolving slow-motion shots.
“The Insta360 ONE lets people capture their experiences in every direction at once, so that they can stay focused on the actual living. It’s a radical reinvention of the camera, but it still works perfectly with the cameras we already use most – our phones,” said JK Liu, Insta360 founder and CEO. “We’re thrilled to introduce the ONE to a new group of Apple customers around the world.”
Two in ONE.
The Insta360 ONE shoots 4K 360-degree video, and distinguishes itself with a clever trick: A built-in Lightning connector allows the ONE to plug directly into an iPhone, letting users preview and capture 360 photos and video from their phone display. Once disconnected, the ONE transforms into a full-featured standalone camera. This easy adaptability makes the ONE perfect for on-the-go shooting and sharing, as well as for 360-degree live broadcasting.
Other key features include FreeCapture, which lets users “shoot first, point later” – freely exploring a 360 video to pull out the best parts in a standard rectangular format – and the unique Bullet Time mode, which uses both of the ONE’s lenses to create a shot where the camera seems to be floating in mid-air as it orbits the center of a scene. The Bullet Time Handle included in the exclusive Insta360 ONE bundle is specially designed to make this style of capture smooth, stable and easy.
The ONE is compatible with iPhone X, iPhone8/8 Plus, iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 6s/6s Plus, iPhone 6/6 Plus and iPhone SE.
Customers can order the camera at Apple.com or purchase and experience the Insta360 ONE at Apple Stores in the U.S., Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
